The Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) is inviting suitable persons to apply for the following vacant positions tenable at its Blantyre Head Office.
Job Purpose
To ensure effectively and efficient delivery of goods and services with due regard to traffic regulations and time schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Driving members of staff and visitors as assigned
- Carrying out physical check-ups on the assigned Authority's vehicle on daily basis to ensure that it is kept in good running condition.
- Keeping vehicles clean at all times.
- Maintaining and keeping the logbook for the vehicle assigned
- Collecting and delivering mail, packages from/to various stakeholders including loading and off- loading the items picked.
- Maintaining minor vehicle faults
- Taking all necessary steps regarding reporting of breakdowns or accidents
- Following schedule of Road Tax, COF, Insurance and schedule of routine and preventive servicing for vehicles under his/her charge and advising management when renewal is due
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education plus valid relevant driving license.
- At least 2 years practical driving experience
