Mobile Clinic Driver Required
The Church of God Mobile Clinic has been operating in Malawi since 2008. There is a clinic base in the grounds of the Church of God in Chilomoni in Blantyre and clinic staff – a medical assistant and a nurse are driven to 4 sites – Milepa, Molumba, Solomoni village and Mtweya to deliver healthcare supported by Government Health Survelllance Assistants.
The Church of God is looking for suitably qualified driver with 5 years experience driver to work in mobile clinics.

| Hours of Work | Hours will not normally exceed 42.5 hours per week. The daily hours will vary according to the location of the clinic. |
| Renumeration | MK 259,720 – subject to PAYE at 10% of monthly salary, and an employee pension contribution of 5% of monthly salary. Tax will be deducted from payment in accordance with legislation. |
| Holiday Entitlement | 15 days per year |
Main responsibilities:
- Load up vehicle with equipment and drugs for the days activities as per instructions from clinic staff.
- Pick up clinic staff at locations as required and drive staff to various clinic sites
- Assist in the loading/unloading of drugs and equipment at the clinics and safely store goods at the end of the days’ activities.
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean state (outside and inside) and keep in good working order.
- Daily check the mechanical condition of the vehicle and maintain the vehicle log book.
- Report any problems to clinic staff and Malawi Project Committee and arrange regular servicing of the vehicle
- Keep clear records of journeys made and money spent on fuel, oil etc.
- Any other official duties that may be assigned from time to time.
You will be required to participate in safeguarding training delivered by the Churches of God safeguarding coordinator.
Essential criteria
Interested applicants must have the following documents:
- Original MSCE
- Driving Licence (C1) with P/G
- Defensive Driving Certificate
- National Identification Card
- Minimum of 5 years driving experience
- Must have knowledge and experience of basic vehicle maintenance
