VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Job Purpose

To deliver high-quality, competency-based training in plumbing and irrigation by planning and implementing effective teaching and assessment programmes, mentoring apprentices, and maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment. The position is responsible for managing training resources and equipment, supporting curriculum development, and ensuring compliance with examining trade board requirements and industry standards to equip learners with relevant technical knowledge and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver competency-based plumbing and irrigation training programmes.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans, and assess students through assignments, tests, and practical evaluations.
• Supervise and mentor apprentices while fostering a conducive and disciplined learning environment.
• Manage and safeguard trade tools, equipment, classrooms, and training materials, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained.
• Collaborate with relevant authorities and colleagues in curriculum development and ensure training aligns with examining trade board requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess either:

• An Advanced Diploma in Plumbing
• At least two (2) years relevant work experience.
